15 Minutes of Fame: As a kid, I was in some print ads and commercials. I even had a stage name—Wendy Andrews! My academy award winning gigs include: Wrigley’s Gum, Tide, and some restaurant commercials:)  As an adult, I was in various commercials for Pepsi, Budweiser, and Gatorade.

Guilty Pleasure: A glass of wine with dark, dark chocolate…yummmmm. I feel no guilt about it though!

What were you before you became the Director of Fitness at PFC? Oh boy. I have done a number of things. I started as Program Director for Heal L.A., which was Michael Jackson’s foundation (offshoot of Heal the World Foundation). After that, I was an academic counselor for undergraduate students in the Department of Psychology at UCLA. I moved to San Diego right before my baby girl was born and was blessed to be able to be a stay-at-mom mom for about four years. At that time, I was deep into my long distance running and a woman randomly asked me to train her for a marathon. Training her sparked my desire to become an ACE certified personal trainer, certified running coach, Director of Fitness and, most recently, a Muscle Activation Techniques Practitioner, which is a type of muscular therapy I offer at PFC Fitness Camp.

What inspires you? The fact that the days I have remaining in this life are numbered. This fact inspires me to write my life well and live my days to their fullest.

If I could meet any famous person, it would be: Helen Keller. She is a prime example of how much a person can transform his/her life even when faced with the biggest challenges one could ever be faced with. She could have given up on herself, shut down, never seeking and learning ways to fill her life with happiness and purpose. Her spirit, tenacity and creativity in learning is a true inspiration.
