Love Protein #9 Super Smoothie

In celebration of this holiday of love, we whipped up our own version of love potion, coining it Love Protein #9! This 9-ingredient super smoothie is chock-full-o-love to rev up the metabolism and the romance all day long.


½ Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
greek yogurt also adds healthy protein and a great source of calcium to your smoothie

½ Cup Almond or Coconut Milk
provides omega 3 fatty acids and is much lower in sugar and calories than skim milk

1 Cup Chocolate Protein Powder (we like Vega One)
great dose of protein for sustained energy throughout the day

1 Tbsp. Maca Powder
libido boosting and rich in vitamin B, E and E as well as Calcium, Zinc, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Amino Acids

1 Tbsp. PB2  (Peanut Butter Powder)
gives that peanut butter taste without the calories and fat of peanut butter

¼ Banana
provides the sweet creamy texture that we love in a great smoothie as well as healthy potassium

3 Tbsp.  Ground Coffee Beans (optional)
naturally boosts your metabolism in small doses

Sprinkle of Cacao Nibs
adds a nice crunch along with a solid dose of fiber to help with digestion

1 Cup Ice

Blend until smooth consistency
