Earth Day Elixir

What better time to create a flavorful green drink than on Earth Day? Utilizing fresh ingredients from our loving mother earth, this elixir is one that you don’t want to miss. Not to mention, this is my favorite smoothie to start any day with–give it a try and let us know what you think!


  • 2 C. Water
  • 1 C. Spinach
  • 1/4 C. Fresh Parsley, picked from stems
  • 1/4 C. Fresh Kale or Swiss Chard
  • ¼ Cucumber, cut in slices
  • 1 Celery stock, cut into 3
  • ¼ Lemon
  • 1 Inch Ginger
  • 1 T. Barleans Flavored Fish Oil
  • 1 T. Ground Flaxseed or Chia Seeds
  • 1 Scoop Vanilla or Plain Whey Protein Powder
  • ¼ Organic Green Apple
  • Any powder or liquid vitamins (multi-vitamin, Calcium, Lecithin granules, etc.)
  • Ice


Combine all of the ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and serve.
