Mary Chilcote, Director of Operations
Mary is a SoCal native, born and raised in Huntington Beach. She studied Speech Communication at Cal State, Fullerton. Prior to joining PFC Fitness, Mary worked in Pharmaceutical Wholesaling, taught high school and was the Varsity Cheer Competition Coach. Most recently Mary served as the Group Reservation Coordinator for La Costa Resort & Spa. Mary loves people and is constantly inspired by all of the PFC guests that are striving for positive change.
Jessica Janc, Director of Nutrition
Jessica Janc has been a part of the Fitness Industry for 20 years. She attended the University of Utah where she studied Exercise Sports Science with an emphasis on Nutrition. She has been an ACE certified Aerobic Instructor and Personal trainer for nineteen years. She studied under the Stott Pilates Method, is Bosu Certified, Madd Dogg Spin certified and teaches many other fitness classes at Purefitness Sports Center in Carlsbad. Jessica is Ace Certified in Lifestyle and Weight Management and is a Sports Nutritionist certified through the National Association of Sports Nutrition (NASN).
Stephanie Huling, Program Coordinator
Stephanie is a born and bred Seattleite who moved down to San Diego to join the PFC team after having a life-changing experience as a PFC client. Weight had been a lifelong struggle for her, and after 12 weeks of the program, she had not only shed the pounds and gotten her health back, but her entire mindset and attitude was transformed. Through this experience, Stephanie became passionate about sharing the blessing of a healthy and balanced lifestyle with others to as well. Stephanie has a B.A. In Public Relations from Gonzaga University and has been in customer service for over 9 years. She is now working on becoming a certified life coach, focusing on health, fitness and body image. “It’s worth every bead of sweat, every tear, and every sore muscle to feel as fit and as healthy as I do now. Regardless of the weight, being able to move and train like an athlete is the best high I could imagine.”
Wendy Sallin, Certified Personal Trainer
Wendy has a B.A. in Sociology from U.C. Santa Barbara and is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, NASN Licensed Sports Nutritionist and RRCA Certified Running Coach. She has worked in the fitness industry since 2003. Wendy has advanced education in various specialties such as functional training, corrective exercise, flexibility, and cardiovascular performance testing. She works with clients of all fitness and wellness levels, from individuals recovering from strokes and heart attacks to competitive athletes seeking higher levels of sports performance. Personally, Wendy has been actively involved in sports and fitness for almost four decades, starting as a gymnast. In college, she found her new passion of running and has been running ever since! She is a proud mom of an 11-year-old girl, who is a competitive gymnast, runner and soccer player. Wendy is inspired daily by the determination and tenacity of PFC Fitness Camp’s clients!
Johnny Archer, Certified Personal Trainer
Johnny was born and raised in London, England. He has studied martial arts for 30 years, 2 of which were spent in Japan. Johnny studied dance at the New York School of Ballet and has danced professionally for 35 years. Johnny is a member of the International Fitness Association, and holds a NASM certification. Additionally, Johnny is a Certified Spin Instructor, Gravity Instructor, Zumba Instructor, Group Fitness Instructor and is Kaiser certified.
Dejinira Lee, Certified Personal Trainer
Dejinira has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor since 1996. She holds nationally recognized certifications from UCLA, Tufts University School of Nutrition, the Arthritis Foundation, YMCA, and the American Council on Exercise. She is also CPR and AED certified. Dejinira’s own quest for a healthier lifestyle began in the 90’s and she soon discovered a passion to help others. Her approach to health, wellness and life is finding balance and harmony of mind, body and spirit. Her motto is, “Have fun getting fit and never underestimate your own strength!” Some of her favorite formats to teach include Core Strength, Aqua, Gravity and Zumba.
Todd Bassler, Certified Personal Trainer
Todd was born and raised in Vermont and grew up playing competitive ice hockey which he continued through college. Prior to joining Premier Fitness, he was the Fitness Manager of six 24-Hour Fitness locations. Todd holds the NASM certification, a B.S. In Psychology and a Minor in Athletic Coaching. Todd lives in Carlsbad with his wife and 2 children.
Ryan Gutierrez, Certified Personal Trainer
Ryan Gutierrez grew up in the Puget Sound, Port Townsend Washington wrestling, powerlifting and playing football. He holds an associates degree in behavioral science and is continuing his education for a bachelor’s in exercise science. Ryan has been personal training for seven years working with individuals in need of rehabilitation, weight loss focused training, bodybuilders, figure models and various diverse athletes. Ryan holds a certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and is CPR, and AED certified. “Every person has the ability for greatness in his or her journey in life, but it takes determination, commitment, positive thinking, and vision to reach your greatest potential.”
Liz Lieberman, Trainer
Liz grew up in Hanalei, Kauai and enjoyed all of the outdoor activities the island had to offer; surfing, hiking, kayaking and more. She has competed in multiple surf contests and was featured in a popular surf exercise video program. Liz moved to San Diego in 2003, and immediately immersed herself into the fitness field. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and also completed their higher education program at CAL/UPenn where she earned a BS in Sport Management with an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness. Liz has been successful in helping her clients overcome personal obstacles including weight gain, depression, anxiety, athritis and even cancer.

Stuart Cole, Trainer
Stuart is a Southern California native, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education with an emphasis in Fitness Management from Southern Oregon University. He is a certified Health and Fitness Specialist through the ACSM. Stuart is an All-American wrestler from Palomar College and still competes in collegiate and international styles, and coaches local high school wrestling programs.
Stuart is an expert at exercise modification to fit the needs of all clients regardless of age, personality, disability, body type or learning style. Stuart’s pursuit to redefine his own health and fitness is matched by his passion to help others by perpetually educating himself to better serve his clients’ individual needs.
Pam Nelson, CPT (A.C.E), Certified Personal Trainer
Pam has been an A.C.E certified (American Council of Exercise) personal trainer for the general population since 1995. She is also a group instructor, and certified in teaching the “Mature Population”, people over 50. Her clients have varied far and wide. She has had people with Parkinsons, amputees, athletes, and people struggling with sever weight issues. She has taught group boot camp for 5 years. Pam enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, biking, skiing, and snowshoeing. She is a trainer, group instructor, and a member of the coaching team.
Eric Butt, National Account Manager
Eric is a Colorado native and has always lived the active Premier Fitness lifestyle. Eric’s deep passion and enthusiasm for helping others enjoy fitness freedom is what drew him to PFC. He grew up playing every sport available and is an avid outdoorsman, hunter and angler. Eric has a powerful testimony of the importance of pursuing fitness and proactively managing nutrition in order to overcome life’s challenges and enjoy life to its fullest.
Sean Dickson, National Account Manager
Sean grew up in Utah and Idaho and has lived in California and Hawaii where he’s pursued his passion for the outdoors and sports including hiking, skiing, golf and skydiving. After 15 years in the business world and an unwanted extra 80 pounds, Sean had a life changing experience of his own that led him to making the decision to change his lifestyle. Midway through his journey of weight loss and re-discovering the fit version of himself, Sean was drawn to PFC Fitness to further his own fitness success as well as to help others in their pursuit of a healthier, happier lifestyle.
In the past year Sean developed a passion for running and cycling and has competed in several events; something he wouldn’t have thought possible just two years ago. Sean knows first hand that change really is possible if you have a genuine desire, the commitment and the right methods. He is a father of three young children with whom he enjoys quality active time and shares an example of how to eat and live through the Premier Fitness lifestyle.
Zach Cutler, Director of Partnership Development
Zach has an abiding belief that fitness and nutrition are key components to a balanced lifestyle. Having hobbies that are physically demanding keep him motivated to eat right and train regularly. He is in avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast. Zach has a love for business, fitness and helping other achieve meaningful goals. Partnering with PFC Fitness has allowed him to bring all these interests together. Before joining the Executive Team at PFC Fitness, Zach spent 12 years in the golf industry as the Vice President of Sales for a successful distributorship that covered the Northwestern United States. He has a Bachelors of Science in Finance from the University of Utah. Of all of his endeavors, the one that brings him the greatest joy is his family; his wife and 4 daughters that each inspire him to be a better man.
Chris Butt, Managing Director
Chris’ passion for health and fitness came through playing competitive sports throughout his life. Helping people with weight loss and reaching goals has been a part of his life for the past decade. Chris earned his NGA Pro Card in 2002 as a result of winning the Mountain States All Natural Body Building Competition. Chris graduated with a BS from Weber State University in 1999 and has been assisting his clients in weight loss ever since. He aims to bring balance with proper nutrition and exercise so every life he touches will be changed forever.
Chris has an enormous passion for his work and deeply cares about the success of each and every program participant. He dedicates his time and talent so that all guests can see their fitness goals become a reality!
Ryan Relyea, Managing Director
Ryan co-founded PFC Fitness because of his passion for fitness and deep-seated desire to help others achieve a higher quality of life through improved health and mobility. Ryan loves playing virtually every sport and spends time every day in the mountains surrounding his home either biking, trail running or skiing. His responsibilities at PFC include operations oversight as well as business and logistical development. Prior to PFC, Ryan spent his career in private equity investment fund management. He attended Brigham Young University and Boise State University where he received a BBA in Finance.
