Today was weigh in. I really hoped for & expected a gigantic drop. Last night as we met with Jessica (our doctor) again, she came in and talked to all of us about not expecting too much from our weigh in. She told us that we’re changing our body makeup and it takes time to notice big differences. We should see the biggest change in 3 to 4 weeks. Of course, in my rebellious mind I thought “Yeah, but that’s not going to happen to me because I already worked out before I came here and I am going to have a huge drop, I am here fine tuning.” Dangit! Jessica was right! We did, however, all have pretty large drops in inches. Here’s my stats:
3 lbs lost
Body fat only down 1/2% – so I really hope it’s wrong because that means I burned muscle not fat
8.5 inches lost – biggest loss in my waist 1.75 inches
Amber lost the most this week with 7 lbs
Jackie, Cherie, Lisa, Tommi & Amber all lost between 3 & 4 inches off their waists.
I hate how the scale screws with my psychological well being. I know, I know, I know I was stagnant & not dropping before I came and I AM shrinking. BUT I really really really wanted to lose 5 lbs last week. Ugggg
