Clinical Testing For Optimal Results

As an official partner of the University of California San Diego and their world-renowned medical facility, PFC Fitness has the tools and expertise in place to help you succeed. Available to our guests is a DEXA Scan for measuring bone density to effectively assess the risk of bone fractures as the result of excessive weight and RMR testing to calculate daily caloric needs for successful fat loss.

Low Impact Exercises That Work

We offer a specifically designed obesity program that will help you achieve rapid fat loss using low intensity but highly effective workouts designed to improve flexibility, balance, strength, posture and more.  At PFC Fitness, we go to great lengths to teach you exercises you can do on your own at home, not just while you are here at camp. Whether it’s an intense aqua cardio class taught in one of the amazing swimming pools here at La Costa Resort & Spa or a low impact boot camp workout using elastic bands and balancing balls, we will help you burn calories without putting excessive strain on your body. A daily obesity workout schedule may include:

Learn To Eat Right

Nearly 80% of your success or failure takes place in the kitchen. Exercising alone is not enough, to lose weight successfully; you simply have to eat right. This concept is so important that we have integrated healthy eating throughout our entire camp experience. It begins by teaching you that eating healthy can and absolutely does taste delicious. Each meal throughout the day is prepared using farm-fresh ingredients by La Costa’s culinary experts, delivering the perfect blend of nutrients for optimal health. That’s not all. We will share all of the recipes you enjoy at camp with you and even take you to the grocery store to teach you how to shop for the ingredients, read and understand nutrition labels and prepare the meals once you return home.

Follow Up Coaching

Our 12-week at-home coaching program is included with your commitment to come to PFC Fitness. We will send you home with our own copy of our Definitive Guide to Accelerated Weight Loss, “Metabolic Machine”, a step-by-step workout book that will tell you exactly what to do, how to do it and when. Additionally, you will be assigned a personal coach who will act as your lifeline while you’re at home. When you’re at the grocery store and need advice on which ingredient is better, give them a call. When you need some extra motivation to get your workout in; they’ll be there for you. If you fail to check in for a few days, they’ll be calling to make sure you’re still on track. Bottom line, we will be there for you every step of the way. This is the difference between success and failure and we’re here to see you succeed!
